I have been practicing trauma therapy with Stories Counseling since April 2021. I am dedicated to upholding ethical practices that align with my membership in the American Counseling Association, and hold licensure from the state of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Family Studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho and my Masters of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have specialized training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), and rapid eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) modalities.

I work with clients from all spiritual traditions, cultures, orientations, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I feel that diversity is the seasoning of life, and am inspired by the goodness of humanity in all its variations! I am an ally for the LGBTQ+ community, women's rights, and black lives. I am a pursuer of growth, justice, and knowledge for individuals and for society. I also enjoy helping clients navigate existential transitions, challenges, and issues related to faith and spirituality. I have created and currently run dialectical behavioral therapy based, faith transition groups for individuals currently experiencing mental health symptoms as a result of transition, nuance, or religious trauma. I work with many individuals, couples, and families who are in interfaith households, families, or partnerships.

I am actively involved within my community of professionals and am committed to growth as a clinician. I am creative in my consistent pursuit of growth and lifelong learning.  I highly value my role as a mother to my three beautiful children and fur baby! When I am not teaching or in my therapy office, I can be found running, writing, reading a good book, adventuring with my children, or nurturing relationships with those I treasure.
