Are you concerned by your overreactions to stressors? Rundown from dwelling on painful moments? Alarmed by the toll those experiences take on your relationships and productivity?  Are you ready to face those trouble spots and find healing from past wounds and negative beliefs? There is hope for you.

Through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, I help clients find healthy distance from traumatic events and strengthen resilient thought patterns and responses to stressors. I use this powerful tool after learning thoroughly about your story and the changes you desire in life. I value who my clients are as people and help them regain safety and direction. While focusing on EMDR Therapy, I integrate other helpful forms of therapy; such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Attachment Theory.

I provide trauma-informed counseling for individual clients--both adults and adolescents. I also provide couples therapy for those who seek to improve their connection and conflict management. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Therapy in couples therapy.

I find it rewarding to work with clients who are new to and/or skeptical of therapy. I am not seeking preadolescent clients or family unit clients. For those seeking to incorporate spirituality in their counseling, I am comfortable exploring all faiths with clients and can provide insight specifically from a Christian perspective.
